Description
Sugar maples have beautiful red fall color. They are more site-demanding than other maples, preferring slightly acid, well-drained soils. Avoid planting in open, windy areas to maintain the appearance of the tree. Commemoration is a fast-grower with a dense canopy and thick, glossy leaves that resist tattering in the wind. Fall color turns from yellow to orange to red earlier in the season than other sugar maples.For reference only:
