American Lindens are Nebraska natives that bloom with showy pale yellow flowers in June. They are stately trees that grow tall in moist, fertile soils. Adaptable to alkaline soils.Redmond was introduced by a Fremont, Nebraska nursery in 1927. It has large leaves and a strong pyramidal form.
