Description
Crabapples are among the most popular spring flowering trees. They’re adaptable to a range of soil types. Buds for the next season will set in mid-summer, so prune in early June if needed. Suckers should be removed and pruning the center of the plant to encourage air movement can help prevent disease problems. Robinson has deep pink flowers that emerge from crimson buds. 3/8 inch dark red fruit. Foliage is green with a reddish bronze tint. Fair Japanese beetle resistance.For reference only:
