Description

River Birches have cinnamon– colored, exfoliating bark and yellow fall color. Best on slightly acid sites that are moist to wet, especially going into winter. They’re extremely heat-tolerant, but not drought tolerant, and resistant to Bronze Birch Borer. Moderate to fast growth. Shiloh Splash is a white-variegated dwarf form. Color holds up in the sun and heat as long as there is an adequate supply of moisture.
