Description
Beautyberries are small-medium rounded shrubs known for extravagant fall displays. They typically have bright green leaves turning to yellow in the fall as well as a heavy set of purple berries. Berries persist from early fall to the beginning of winter. The Pearl Glam cultivar features dark purple foliage, white summer flowers, and a heavy fruit set. This is also an upright variety that stays 4’ wide. They prefer average, well-drained soil and can tolerate some shade. Best fruit set is in full sun. Displays delicate pink flowers in summer. Mostly used in groupings or borders, found in many woodland areas.For reference only:
