Description

Buddleia Birthday Cake™ is a flowering deciduous shrub offering 3 seasons of interest, blooming and reblooming summer and fall, sometimes to first frost. The large flower spikes, dense with purple blooms, are borne on long stems that stand erect, well above the foliage, reminiscent of candles on a birthday cake (hence the name). The nectar-rich flowers are mildly but sweetly fragrant and extremely pollinator friendly, attracting tons of bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
