Description

This tree has become a classic over the years, providing a dramatic sculptural focal point in well lit homes. Its striking fiddle shaped waxy leaves are easily recognizable as a staple for every houseplant parent. These do best in bright indirect light and watered thoroughly only when dry. These ficus can get rootbound quickly and the soil may need aerated with a chopstick occasionally to allow water to penetrate soil. Fertilize once per month with generic houseplant food spring through late summer.
