Description

Native to Southeast Asia, tropical pitcher plants can be kept as an indoor plant with direct light and consistently moist soil. To avoid drying out, keep the plant barely submerged in a saucer of purified water. Humidity helps the development of pitchers and adding water to these pitchers will help maintain them. As it grows, it is normal for pitchers to turn brown and die. The plant has a natural vining habit, meaning it can be pruned back to maintain a bushy appearance or trained on a stake.
