Description

Red maples are known for their brilliant fall color and rounded canopies. They’re adaptable to a wide range of soils, even wet spots. Avoid planting in heavy alkaline clay to prevent chlorosis. Moderate growth rate, but slower in dry soils. Summer Sensation has new growth that retains its red emerging color longer into the spring, and turns burgundy in the fall.
